Squatters and Savages

The opening of this show with Megan Evans took place on June 3 and it was really well attended. There is an amazing catalogue to go with the show and the feedback I have received has been overwhelmingly positive. Megan and I have created a powerful show that explores both sides of Australia’s colonial history. Together our work creates an interesting dialogue. We bounce of each other. I’m very proud of this show so if you are in the Ballarat area, please drop into the Ballarat Art gallery for a look. It runs until mid July 2017.

About peterwaplescrowe

Peter Waples Crowe is an artist, an arts worker, and a health worker. I'm Ngarigo. My art practice is autoethnographic in nature from the intersection of Culture, Identity and spirituality . With mixed media and humour I explore the new possibilities for Koori people to re-present themselves and their culture away from historical and socio-political boundaries and limits.
